Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed counselor who is passionate about providing exceptional mental health services in a supportive, growth-focused environment. This position offers autonomy with the backing of a strong referral base, administrative support, and a collaborative clinical team. Remote work is available for fully licensed LPCs licensed in Alabama and Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to adults and/or adolescents based on specialty

  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in the Simple Practice EHR

  • Deliver culturally responsive and evidence-based treatment

  • Build and maintain a caseload that aligns with your professional goals and NBC’s mission

Qualifications

  • Active Alabama LPC license; Active FL License preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred

  • Training in trauma modalities (EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS) is a plus; willingness to pursue training encouraged

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Commitment to high-quality, client-centered care

Compensation

  • Competitive percentage-based split

  • Flexible scheduling with the option for in-person and telehealth sessions

Position: Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) – Clinical Supervision & Client Care (In-Person Preferred)
Location: Montgomery/Pike Road, AL – In-Person Strongly Preferred (Some Hybrid Possible)

Position Overview
We are seeking an LPC-S to provide high-quality clinical supervision to associate licensed counselors (ALCs) with a preference for in-person availability in Montgomery, AL in addition to maintaining a client caseload. This is an opportunity to influence the next generation of clinicians while enjoying the flexibility and income potential of private practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group supervision to NBC ALCs in compliance with Alabama Board requirements

  • Offer guidance on clinical, ethical, and professional practice issues

  • Maintain a small-to-medium caseload of therapy clients based on specialty and availability

  • Collaborate with NBC leadership to ensure supervisee growth and client care quality

  • Maintain documentation of supervision hours and progress for board reporting

Qualifications

  • Active Alabama LPC license with LPC-S designation

  • Minimum of 3 years post-licensure experience

  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

  • Competitive percentage-based split for client sessions

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Outpatient Mental Health
Location: Montgomery/Pike Road, AL – In-Person (Some Telehealth Possible)

New Beginnings Counseling (NBC) is a growing group practice serving women and diverse communities with high-quality, trauma-informed care. We specialize in EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and DBT, and we are expanding to include psychiatric medication management to provide whole-person care.

Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed PMHNP to join our team to provide psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and collaborative care for our therapy clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management for clients ages 18+

  • Provide in office VA disability evaluations in accordance with VA standards (training can be provided)

  • Collaborate with NBC therapists to coordinate treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in Simple Practice

  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed

  • Adhere to NBC’s values of culturally responsive, client-centered care

Qualifications

  • Active Alabama PMHNP license and national board certification

  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Alabama

  • Experience in outpatient mental health preferred

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

  • Commitment to culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care

Compensation

  • Percentage-based split with competitive earning potential
